Worldwide FM broadcast the 21st episode of Balearic Breakfast on January 19th 2021.
I lockdown. You lockdown. We lockdown. They lockdown. Everybody Lockdowns. Nothing had changed at the beginning of this new year... We were asked by the Authorities to "Stay at Home", and so we did (if you want to take a bad trip, head over there and read the kind of publications we then had and if you want to have a timeline, please, enjoy yourself, it's over there...) :
You must stay at home. The single most important action we can all take is to stay at home to protect the NHS and save lives. You should follow this guidance immediately. The law will be updated to reflect these new rules.
England's Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, January 2021
Needless to say, the Balearic Breakfast Family needed to Escape. We all needed a place of our own where there would be no restrictions and where we could, at last, dance our souls out on a spacious dancefloor. We were fortunate enough to have Colleen by our Side. The requests made by the Family allowed Colleen to prepare a very open show, with a beautiful and groovy set. From the very start, when you listen to the songs, you can picture flying kites in a clear blue sky!
