ABOUT THIS EPISODE

Today's episode starts with a totally freed soul. Nothing restrains the listener's spirit here. There's a lot of freedom; it's like floating on a calm river and letting yourself breathe, deeply, as the current takes you away. Then, things slowly shift to a stronger feeling as wonderful reggaish flavours come and meet us along the way, the show ending on a joyous note but keeping a very flying, freeing and windy soul...

As many European countries experience an almost unbearable heatwave, with many forests burning, people losing their homes, and even risking their lives amidst the fires taking them off guard (this hapenned to dancing_james' wife in spain and, tragically, people who left the place 30 minutes later perrished); today's episode was a very moving one, as the Family really came together as one, speaking about music, of course, but also about what's happening in the world, everyone trying to cheer his fellow friend up...

We welcomed a few new members who entered the Family, and as I said on the chat to Barry, "No one can understand our bonds... We're surrounded by love". Later, Barry wrote, "I admit I really appreciate this ritual and I'm grateful for this community". All seems to be said right?! Of course, Colleen got all the love she rightfully deserved, too, Barry saying to her, "Thank you for being the amazing soul that you are".

Musically speaking, Colleen's mix was flawless, and Bunj shared on the chat, "Chooon after chooon...", which was very true as we got to hear balearic classics and tunes that really took us above the heatwave, bringing fresh air, joy and freedom amidst tough times...
