Worldwide FM broadcast the 9th episode of Balearic Breakfast on October 27th 2020.
One day you'll look / To see I've gone / For tomorrow may rain / So I'll follow the sun
The Beatles, 1964
With Jose Padilla's passing, and while listening to the show, I couldn't help but see the image of a marching sun, continuously evolving in the sky at high speed (a very trippy yet soulful representation indeed...).
During this 9th edition of Balearic Breakfast, Colleen is joined by Phil Mison, renowned DJ and Padilla's long-time friend and gives us the occasion to listen to tracks that you'd not think could have been played in a DJ set (like the beautiful song "Everybody got to learn sometimes" that José liked a lot), enforcing the idea that Balearic Music, before being a genre is, first and foremost, and truly, a way of life...
Without further ado, listen to this 9th edition of Balearic Breakfast :
