The Lioncub Celebrates The Balearic Breakfast compilations

In a 1h25min mix, our friend, The Lioncub, decided to celebrate the Balearic Breakfast compilation by playing tracks featured in the acclaimed series.

THE STORY

As you all know, The Lioncub is one of the youngest member of the Balearic Breakfast Family. This Four-Legged Spirit is the one fuelling this blog with stories, interviews and working tirelessly each week to bring you a resume of the last episode Colleen presented.

A few weeks ago, he decided it was high time to celebrate the Balearic Breakfast compilations and he thus set out to record a mix containing exclusively songs that could be found on the vinyl release of the series.

The setup on which our friend recorded this mix includes a mastersounds rotary mixer and two weights, two Technics sl1210 turntables, some Jelco RCA cables, brass platers, the great sounding Shure White Label cartridges and a Roland Quad-Capture soundcard. The quality of the sound is really great, with a very nice soundstage!

Entitled "There's Someone in the Stars", this mix also celebrates the way the Liioncub loves to listen to music (at night) and his endless devotion to his dear musical friend, Colleen 'Cosmo' Murphy... Close your eyes and enjoy!
